PRIDE’s Tri-County HOME Program funds owner-occupied home rehabilitation and lead-based paint abatement for low to moderate-income residents of Essex, Washington, and Warren counties.
Our project spending cap limit increases when performing lead abatement. This grant is for major home rehabilitation.
HOME Program funds may only be used to assist households with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income. See the “Low” income guideline below.
We encourage families with young children in the home to apply, the elderly, and all low-income residents of Essex, Warren, and Washington counties.
Program Overview: The New York State HOME Program is administered by the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC) and uses HOME federally allocated HOME Investment Partnership Program funds to expand the supply of decent, safe, and affordable housing within the State.
