PRIDE’s AHC Program funds owner-occupied home rehabilitation for low to moderate-income residents of Essex, Washington, and Warren counties.

We can only assist 2-3 low to moderate-income residents 60 years or older for 2023. Our hope is to continue applying for additional grants. Under the Program, AHC provides grants to build, rehabilitate, or improve homes for low- and moderate-income families.
The Program has two primary goals:
Applications will be reviewed for program eligibility on a first-received basis. Applications not funded through this program will be added to the PRIDE’s waiting list, which is based on a first come first served basis, so you want to make sure that you get your completed application in as soon as possible.

This AHC Program will be utilizing the HUD Approved – IRS Form 1040 Definition of Income to determine household income eligibility. The following documents must be submitted with your application:
