making our home a happier, healthier place

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The Fund supports emergency home repairs for low-income homeowners who are unable to afford the emergency work. Repairs up to $1500.00 are awarded to qualified homeowners for critical electrical updates, plumbing issues or furnace repairs to name a few of the many home emergencies.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is funded solely through private donations and 100% of the funds raised goes to emergency home repairs.

Project “End School Hunger”

Empowering Our Community: The Community Fund

PRIDE of Ticonderoga is thrilled to pioneer our local “Community Fund,” a transformative initiative that builds upon the success of our previous “End School Hunger” project. This evolution comes as a direct response to the strides made by the Ticonderoga school district in embracing the USDA Community Eligibility Provision program, which ensures universal access to free meals for all students.

Under the visionary leadership of PRIDE’s Executive Director, Nicole Justice Green, the Community Fund will center its efforts on empowering our community’s youth by addressing their unique needs. We are immensely proud of our accomplishments with the “End School Hunger” project, which successfully eliminated student lunch debt during the 2022-2023 school year.

As we transition to the Community Fund, our commitment remains steadfast. We are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our community through targeted initiatives. Notably, the Community Fund has already played a pivotal role in supporting capital improvements, including enhancements to the beach playground and ice rink in Ticonderoga.

We invite you to join us in this exciting phase of our journey. By contributing to the Community Fund, you directly support initiatives that impact the lives of our youth and contribute to the vibrancy of our community. Together, we can create a brighter future for all residents and continue to foster a strong sense of unity.

For more information on how to contribute to the Community Fund, please contact PRIDE at 585-6366, via email at info@prideofticonderoga.org, or through PRIDE’s Facebook page.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we embark on this new chapter of community enrichment.

Project “End School Hunger” seeks to combat childhood food insecurity in Ticonderoga by eliminating school meal debt. Your donation will go directly into our “lunch reserve account” that PRIDE uses monthly to remediate the school meal debt of food-insecure students. Currently, 1 in 4 children in New York state experience food insecurity. Project “End School Hunger” is funded by the Adirondack Foundation, PRIDE, and by direct contributions from generous donors like you. Thank you!
